These Terms govern your access to and use of the JobCast platform, services, and related applications.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using JobCast. By accessing or using any part of the Platform you are agreeing to the Terms below. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use of our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JobCast (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobCast.

2. Definitions

“JobCast,” “we,” “our,” or “us”
Refers to JobCast and its affiliated entities providing the Platform.
“Platform”
Means the JobCast website, mobile applications, APIs, dashboards, and related services.
“User,” “you,” or “your”
Refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform, including Job Seekers and Employers.
“Employer”
Means any organisation or authorised representative posting jobs or sourcing candidates through the Platform.
“Job Seeker”
Means an individual using the Platform to search for employment opportunities or career resources.
“Content”
Includes job listings, profiles, CVs, messaging, and any materials uploaded, submitted, or otherwise made available on the Platform.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements to use the Platform. We do not permit users under 18 to create accounts or access services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

JobCast provides tools to connect employers and job seekers across Pakistan, including:

5. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and accept responsibility for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at info@jobcast.pro if you suspect unauthorised access. JobCast may require multi-factor authentication or other controls for sensitive features.

8. Fees and Payment Terms

Core Platform functionality is currently provided free of charge. JobCast may introduce premium features, subscription plans, or pay-per-use services in the future. We will give ≥30 days’ notice before charging existing users. Any paid services will be subject to additional commercial terms outlining pricing, renewal cycles, refunds, invoicing, taxes, and late-payment consequences.

If you authorise charges to a payment method, you represent that you are authorised to use that method and agree to pay all fees incurred. Unless stated otherwise, charges are non-refundable once the related service period begins, except where mandated by law.

9. Free Services Policy

You agree to use free services responsibly and refrain from activities that degrade Platform performance or availability. JobCast may set reasonable usage caps, restrict automated activity, or suspend accounts that misuse free resources. If we materially change the scope of free services, we will communicate the change and provide opt-out options.

10. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By uploading or publishing content, you grant JobCast a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt, and display that content solely for operating, improving, and promoting the Platform. Employers confirm they have the right to post job descriptions, trademarks, and other materials provided to JobCast. JobCast’s trademarks, logos, software, and original content remain our exclusive property and may not be copied or exploited without prior written consent.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Our collection, processing, and storage of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the handling of personal data as detailed therein, including cross-border transfers where permitted by law. Employers agree to comply with applicable data protection regulations when receiving candidate information from JobCast.

13. Automated Decision-Making & Profiling

JobCast may use algorithmic scoring, recommended matches, or prioritisation rules to organise job listings and candidate profiles. These features support discovery and do not replace human decision-making by employers. We regularly evaluate automated systems for bias and accuracy. You may request human review of any automated decision that materially affects you by contacting info@jobcast.pro.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. JobCast does not control and is not responsible for these external sites or services. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

JobCast provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that job postings, profiles, or other content are complete, accurate, or current.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobCast and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobCast and our affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

18. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be communicated via the Platform or by email to registered users. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you object to the changes, you must stop using the Platform and, if applicable, close your account.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, participate in fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if we reasonably believe your actions may harm other users. Upon termination your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, but clauses that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

20. Dispute Resolution

We encourage informal dispute resolution by contacting support@jobcast.pro within 30 days of the issue. If not resolved, disputes shall proceed to mediation in Multan, Pakistan. If mediation fails, the dispute will be finally resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1940 (Pakistan). Parties retain the right to seek injunctive relief for unauthorised use of intellectual property or confidential information.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Subject to the dispute resolution clause, courts located in Multan, Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters arising from or relating to these Terms.

22. International Users & Consumer Rights

JobCast primarily serves users in Pakistan but may be accessed globally. Where local consumer or employment laws grant additional rights, those rights take precedence over conflicting provisions in these Terms. Users located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protections retain the right to bring claims in their home country courts where required by law.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
