Cookies Policy
Effective as of: November 2025
This policy explains how JobCast uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our websites and applications.
1. Introduction
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our Platform. They help us deliver secure login sessions, remember your preferences, analyse usage, and show more relevant content. This policy works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies allow a website to recognise your device between visits. They may be set by JobCast (first-party cookies) or by third parties that provide services on our behalf (third-party cookies). Cookies can be session-based (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (remain until they expire or you delete them).
3. Why We Use Cookies
We deploy cookies to ensure the Platform works as intended, safeguard accounts, understand Platform performance, and tailor content. Without certain cookies the Platform may not function correctly.
4. Types of Cookies
- Strictly necessary: Required for authentication, load balancing, and security. These cannot be turned off in our systems.
- Functional: Remember your preferences, such as saved job filters and login persistence.
- Analytics: Help us understand how visitors interact with pages so we can improve performance and UX.
- Marketing/attribution: Assist with measuring campaign effectiveness or preventing duplicate outreach. We only set these with your consent where required.

We periodically update this list as new features launch. For the latest version, contact privacy@jobcast.pro.
6. Third-Party Technologies
Service providers such as Google Analytics may set their own cookies to deliver analytics and measurement services. These third parties process data according to their privacy policies. We require them to comply with applicable laws and support opt-out controls.
7. Consent & Preference Management
On your first visit, we display a cookie banner allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise preferences. You can reopen the banner at any time by selecting Manage Cookies in your account privacy controls or by contacting us. If you are not signed in, email privacy@jobcast.pro and we will record your preference manually.
8. Browser & Device Controls
You can adjust cookie settings directly within your browser. Options typically include blocking third-party cookies, clearing existing cookies, or prompting before new cookies are stored. Guidance is available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Blocking essential cookies may impact your ability to sign in or use secure areas of the Platform.
9. Retention & Expiry
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their scheduled expiry or until you clear them manually. We periodically review cookies to ensure retention periods remain appropriate for their intended purpose.
10. Legal Basis
We rely on legitimate interests to set essential cookies that keep the Platform secure and operational. For analytics and marketing cookies, we obtain your consent in jurisdictions where consent is required (e.g., EU/EEA, UK). You can withdraw consent at any time by updating your preferences.
11. Other Tracking Technologies
We may use local storage, session storage, or server-side logging to support features such as saving dashboard filters or detecting suspicious activity. These technologies store limited data and are cleared when you reset preferences, sign out, or clear browser storage.
12. Policy Updates
We review this policy at least annually and update it when we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies. A new “Effective as of” date will signal changes. Significant updates may also appear in dashboard notices or email alerts.
